Microlaserpeel
MicroLaserPeel treatments in Edina & Bloomington
A MicroLaserPeel is a non-surgical skin resurfacing treatment that removes a thin to deep layer of damaged skin.
This improves skin texture and tone, fine lines, wrinkles, pigment damage, and acne scars to restore your youthful appearance. We also offer similar treatments, such as Arctic Peel and Blizzard Peel that are not as aggressive with less downtime.

Step 2: Treatment Planning
Based on our conversation, we’ll create a treatment plan just for you.
Step 3: Treatment
Your treatment will be in one of our comfortable treatment rooms.
We will apply a topical numbing gel will be applied to help you be as comfortable as possible. Additionally, we use cold air during the treatment to help with discomfort.
One of our physicians will perform the treatment we customized for you.
The treatment is mildly uncomfortable but tolerable.
We will give you an ointment for post-treatment care that you will need to use for the next 1 to 5 days, depending on the depth of the laser peel.
Step 4: Follow up
Follow-ups are generally recommended in about a month to compare before and after photos.

Am I a candidate?
Almost everyone is a candidate for MicroLaserPeel. Typically, those in their 30s and older who have mild-to-moderate skin damage are candidates. This can benefit many people who want some facial lifting but are not ready for surgery, whether mentally, physically, or financially. Younger people who want to “stay ahead of the game,” will benefit as well.
How many sessions will it take?
Usually one, but you could need more depending on the skin issues.
Will I have to take off work?
Yes, at least one to four days depending on the depth of the MicroLaserPeel.
How long will the procedure take?
Approximately 45 minutes.
Is the MicroLaserPeel painful?
There is typically mild-to-moderate discomfort which the topical numbing gel can address, using Pro-Nox (nitrous oxide/ “laughing gas”) or pre-medicating with an oral medication.
Is there pain or discomfort after the procedure?
Typically the hot, uncomfortable feeling after the procedure will resolve 20 to 120 minutes after the procedure.
What is used for pain management after the procedure?
Most do not need any pain medication after the treatment. Cold compresses help ease the heat and swelling.
Do I need a driver?
No, you can drive yourself to and from our office.
Do I need a consultation first?
Yes.
How much does it cost?
Depends on the area or areas treated.
When will I start seeing results?
You will begin peeling a few days after the procedure, and you’ll see improvements about 3 to 5 days after the treatment.
