Forever Clear is a comfortable three-step treatment that takes as little as 30 minutes depending on the area treated. We applied topical anesthetic to your skin for 15 to 20 minutes. You may feel a quick, warm sensation as the targeted areas absorb the light.
Step 1: Skin is first treated with a Blue BBL light to eliminate acne-causing bacteria at its source, deep down in the pores. This can even treat upcoming breakouts before they emerge!
Step 2: Skin is then treated with Yellow BBL light to reduce inflammation and acne-associated redness to give you healthy, luminous skin.
Step 3: We then treat your skin with Infrared light in gentle pulses to initiate the body’s natural healing process, jumpstarting collagen production to heal acne lesions and scars.
There is usually only mild discomfort, typically no downtime, and most return to work the same day. You may apply makeup immediately after the treatment.
A sapphire at the end of the BBL applicator ensures skin remains cool and comfortable during the procedure. After the session, patients typically experience a warm sensation for about 30 to 60 minutes.

During the Forever Clear procedure, you can expect minimal discomfort as the provider glides the handpiece over your skin. To protect your eyes, you’ll be given goggles to wear. You might experience brief sensations like a “rubber band snap,” followed by a gentle warmth throughout the treatment. Individuals who have epilepsy, experience seizures, or have light sensitivity cannot undergo this procedure. Additionally, those currently taking antibiotics, prescription topical medications, or who have used Accutane (isotretinoin) within the last six months are not suitable candidates for treatment. Lastly, the treatment should not be performed on tanned or burned skin.
