ProFractional Laser
Our ProFractional® laser offers dramatic results and quick healing for patients interested in improving:

The ProFractional laser is similar to previous fractional devices, but what sets our ProFractional laser apart is the quick healing time and lack of discomfort during treatment. Patients are excited about the ProFractional laser because they see results quickly and recovery time is short. It's minimally ablative, so the physician does not disrupt the skin's surface. Through very tiny laser holes, the treatment reaches depths appropriate for correcting acne scars, wrinkles and texture issues. The ProFractional is an ideal choice by itself, or paired with other laser treatments (see below "laser combinations" for more information.)

MicroLaserPeel™
Arctic Peel™
The Arctic Peel is slightly less aggressive than the above MicroLaserPeel. The Artic Peel does not remove as many of the outer layers of the epidermal skin. Therefore, this peel does not require the use of a topical anesthetic gel. Rather, the Artic Peel uses very cold air on the skin to achieve adequate anesthesia. The results are a fresher, tighter look to your skin. This is an excellent “jump start” to a good skin care program.
BBL (Broad Band Light)
(Also referred to as IPL, Photorejuvenation, or “Photofacial”)
The Sciton BBL Treatment is one of the most advanced Intense Pulse Light (IPL) systems available on the market. Our "Photofacial" is a very safe treatment that can lift irregular spots of pigment or discoloration over 10 - 14 days.

The North Star Peel is our most comprehensive laser combination excellent for patients who are trying to correct multiple skin care issues such as acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage and skin texture concerns. The North Star Peel combines a ProFractional laser, MicroLaserPeel and a Broadband Light treatment. Expect 2-4 days of downtime.

The West Coast Peel is an effective "one-two" punch against aging skin. The combo involves a ProFractional laser treatment and a MicroLaserPeel which will help smooth fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring as well as improve overall skin tone and texture. Pairing a MicroLaserPeel and a Broadband Light, the South Beach Peel laser duo is a wise choice for patients' whose biggest concern is aging skin due primarily to sun damage. The MicroLaserPeel will help soften wrinkles and fine lines brought on by sun damage and the addition of a Broadband Light will specifically lift pigment brought on my sun damage (i.e. lighten or lift brown spots, freckles and age spots brought on my the sun's intense rays.)

Skin Tightening for Collagen Stimulation
We use a pulsed infrared light source to heat deep dermal tissue, while sparing the epidermis through continuous cooling. The result is collagen stimulation that leads to younger looking and tighter skin. There is minimal discomfort and minimal redness. In some cases, tighter skin can be seen after just one treatment, although a package of 3 to 4 treatments is recommended for best results. This procedure is ideal when packaged with a 30-second GentleWaves photomodulation treatment.

PhotoDynamic Therapy (PDT) Advanced Acne Treatment
If you are leery of taking an aggressive oral acne medication, we urge you to consider our PhotoDynamic Advanced Acne Treatment. This treatment uses a topical solution of Levulan, or aminolevulinic acid (ALA) to pre-treat the skin. ALA is a “natural” product found in all humans throughout the body. It is a precursor for hemoglobin synthesis. After the Levulan/ALA is applied, a light source is then used to destroy the acne bacteria. This treatment will also reduce oil glands and sebaceous hyperplasia.
Some patients will experience itching when the solution is first applied, but this sensation is resolved within several minutes. Following the treatment, patients will likely see redness and peeling for a period of 2 to 7 days. It is extremely important that for the first 18 hours after treatment patients avoid sunlight, very bright light and heat. The number of treatments a patient requires can vary, however at least 3 treatments are recommended over a course of 4 to 8 weeks.
ThermaScan (1319)
Our ThermaScan treatment treats fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars and active acne with no downtime. The ThermaScan is designed for collagen remodeling (i.e. reducing wrinkles and improving acne scarring) and heating the acne cysts to improve acne.
GentleWaves LED Photomodulation
We have placed it under the heading of “Laser Treatments,” yet GentleWaves LED Photomodulation is not technically a laser procedure. However, it’s important to note that Photomodulation can be quite effective in improving pore size and skin tone with no downtime.
LED Photomodulation is the interaction of light delivered through Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) to activate cells causing them to produce collagen or multiply. The main benefit is a reduction in the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, freckles, brown spots, scars and the amount of redness. In addition, the treatments are pain free with no downtime at all. In fact, each GentleWaves treatment takes a mere 30 seconds of time and patients return to normal activities immediately following their treatment. A package of 8 to 10 treatments is traditionally required to achieve maximum results.

The computer sets the parameters and places the beam in an optimum pattern for your skin to ensure a safe, fast, effective and gentle treatment.
How many treatments will I need?
You may need to be treated from 5 to 6 times at intervals of 6 to 8 weeks. There are three phases of hair growth - anagen, catagen, and telogen. Only hairs in the active growth phase, anagen, can be successfully treated.
