Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion resurfacing is an exfoliation technique that leaves the skin supple and vibrant. Skin Rejuvenation Clinic uses a crystal-free DiamondTome wand which gently removes the outermost layer of skin with natural diamond chips, while at the same time vacuuming the dead skin cells away in a sterile and controlled manner. Removing this outer layer of dead skin cells leaves a smoother texture and promotes the growth of healthy new skin cells. Unlike other exfoliation treatments, the crystal-free microdermabrasion system uses no loose abrasives to contaminate you or the environment.
Microdermabrasion is a wonderful alternative to laser or chemical peels because it is non-invasive, non-surgical and requires no down time after treatment. Normal activities may be resumed immediately. Patients experience softer, smoother and cleaner skin and leave our office with a healthy, radiant glow.
MicroPeel or MicroPeel Plus
Our experienced aesthetician will help you determine which MicroPeel is right for your skin type. First, dead cellular layers are removed by dermaplaning or pure enzyme, a unique papaya based mask. Next, an AHA solution is applied to your skin (glycolic acid for MicroPeel, salicylic acid for MicroPeel Plus). After the appropriate level of exfoliation is reached, the solution is neutralized. The third and final step of the BioMedic MicroPeel is a freezing process called Cryogenic Therapy which relieves inflammation and cools the skin.
Vitalize Peel
The Vitalize Peel by SkinMedica can be used to treat photodamaged skin, fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentary abnormalities, superficial scarring and acne. The treatment takes only 30 minutes and patients can expect to leave the office looking healthy and fresh. Any immediate discoloration can be easily covered with make-up and activities can be resumed right away. Within 48 hours, a mild flaking will occur, which can be controlled with moisturizers. The Vitalize Peel is most effective when repeated every 3 to 4 weeks.

The Illuminize Peel by SkinMedica is a light chemical peel that uses a novel approach to chemical peeling with a newer generation of alpha-hydroxy acids (mandelic acid and malic acid) in combination with phytic acid and commonly used peeling agents (salicylic acid and resorcinol) to maximize skin rejuvenating effects with low irritation.
